Hi,
In the past if I were to put '12' in the search field in the Board view, I would get every ticket where the code contained XXX-%12%. Since last week it only looks at the title it seems so I do not get any results anymore.
Is there a way to get this behaviour back? As it was the most efficient way to search the board.
I'm not sure what would cause the behavior you have described here. I can't seem to replicate this in my own Cloud site. I created a support case on your behalf over in https://getsupport.atlassian.com/servicedesk/customer/portal/23/JST-1133022
Perhaps this way our support team can take a closer look at your Cloud environment to better understand why this might be happening.
Andy
That's weird, as I tested in several environments and it works just fine. I've also checked and haven't seen any changes that removed issue key searching from the board, as @Piyush Annadate _ACE Pune_ mentioned. Have you tried reloading the page or doing a clean refresh? Sometimes client-side Javascript errors may prevent the page from functioning as intended.

Hello @Roan Roodenburg ,
Welcome to the Community !!
Based on my checks, nothing got changes recently for search mechanism (I may be missing something though).
Can you check for the search process as -> Settings -> System -> General Configuration -> Internationalization -> that should be 'English - Moderate Stemming' (If not, you may change that to mentioned).
Sometimes, the indexing might be in place, causing the search not to reflect the accurate result - NOT ALWAYS, but rare

I'll send this to our main admin to check the settings as I don't have the full rights for the project. I'll let you know!

Our admin checked the setting and it was indeed the strict setting. We've updated it to Moderate stemming but it didn't help unfortunately.
