Hi all!
I hope you can help me on this.
I have read a lot of post in the community about where to link bugs, if in a user story, or have them a subtask named "Bug subtask" or something like that.
But, In my team, it was suggested to link the bugs reported during testing cycle to the specific subtask (asociated to a user story of course) where was detected.
Do you think is correct? anything that could produce issues when reporting or estimating?
Thanks in advance,
Ro
I think your proposal is perfectly "correct" - as long as it works for you and your people understand you're doing it that way, it's correct.
The simplest way I found was having separate stories for development and validation, and then add items under them and link them using issue link.
Subtask in Jira are not part of many reports so they make life bit tougher.
