Hi,
We are on jira data center, v8.5.3 and confluence v7.4.0
We have about 2000 confluence pages (migrated as requirements from CLM) and we have equilant number of corresponding 2000 jira issues (all stories) for each of these confluence pages.
Problem here is that they are not linked with each other. Each of these confluence pages have a table inside it and one of the row inside the table is called ID and it has a unique ID number.
On the other hand, Jira also has this external id field which has stored this unique ID number.
Now, is there a way, I can connect each confluence page to its corresponding jira issue by matching this unique ID. I do not want to do it manually one by one. Is there a way to bulk link or any other solutions please ?
Hi @Venkatesh Prasad ,
You can try to use the Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app to solve this case.
The first step is to collect all the information from your mini Confluence tables on the requirements pages on the one master page. It seems that you already use the Page Properties and Page Properties Report macros for this purpose.
The second step is to use the standard Jira Issues macro to list your Jira issues on the same master Confluence page.
The third step is to combine these two tables by the unique ID column. Use the Table Transformer macro for this purpose - choose the default Look up preset and choose the unique ID column in the "Match records by" field.
