Bulk csv import with 1000+ entries into one label field (mapping question)

We have a unique situation where we want to have over 1000+ columns in a csv mapped into 1 label field. We started to map the column to the label field manually and realized it is going to take hours. Also, the number of columns will expand over time, so we would want to be able to redo this exercise quickly. 

Any ideas?

This is hacky but if the problem eventually comes down to how quicky you can click through the selection boxes on the csv import screen, I would suggest writing jQuery to set all those selects to Labels.

It would also be worth considering just creating an issue import from scratch using Script Runner through the script console.
