Burn Down Chart

Nisha April 14, 2020

In Burn down chart , how the change of scope is getting calculated? for example If I am starting the sprint on march 16th, I added the issues on march 16th , the sprint starts @march 16 .. but the burn down chart is still showing the scope change for all the issue added on march 16..? little confused how this is getting calculated?

Hi @Nisha

Welcome to the Community!

I think you have added the issues in the sprint after started the sprint on 16th March.

You have started the sprint with few issues and after that, you added or updated the things that's why it will show you scope change in the burndown chart.

yes.., few sprints i remember we do add few issues after starting the sprint... but I am wonder to see in few sprints almost 90% issues are showing added after starting the sprint,  I am trying understand,  any other way other is there for "scope change" other  than adding the issues after starting the sprint .
