Button "start a sprint" is missing

alexandre_antoine October 17, 2018

Hello

I'm currently working on Jira. On one of my project (named project1), the button "create sprint" is missing on the backlog view. This button is here on another project (named project2)

I'm project administrator on both project.

On configure board, filter query is present (project = project1 order by rank asc), and ranking too (Using Rank). It seems have the same configuration as the project2

I can see the sprint field on each ticket of project1 and project2. But on project1, I can fill it with the sprint's name of project2. Maybe a missing configuration ?

Any idea ?

Best regards

Ok, I found the issue : my board was in Kanban and not in Scrum (and I wasn't aware than you can't create sprint in Kanban. Now I know :) )

Thanks a lot :p

Check the permission scheme in the second project, do you have the manage sprints permission?

Hello

Thank for the answer

I have the manage sprint permission (as a personn and as a group. I try as a group only or as a person only, no change)
