By Using Time tracking am able to get efforts appropriately is there a way to figure out % Complete

Need help on how the % Complete value is taken for a story

Note that i have created sub tasks and given Original estimate and updating time spent on a daily basis. 

Pls let me know how can i get the % complete value

I'd try creating a custom field (% complete) and building an automation to update the value each time the Hours Worked field in the jira story is updated.

1. When: Value changes for "Hours Worked"
2. Then:  Edit issue fields "% Complete"
   
       build a JSON script within the 2nd step of the automation to do the math
         (hours worked/ estimated hours)
