CSV Import - Disregard already existing entries

Hi everyone.

Is there a way for JIRA to acknowledge already existing line entries in a bulk import CSV? 

For example, if I upload a CSV with 5 entry tickets, then add a 6th, is there a way for JIRA to ignore the first five, and simply create/update with the 6th entry from the import?

As long as you have the issueKey field mapped to the Issue Key field during import it will update the mapped fields for those issues.

If the mapped fields haven't changed for the first 5 entries then you don't have anything to worry about.

Is the Issue Key field during import considered Issue ID?
