Hi,
It was possible before to import tasks from csv to *project if you have admin rights for it, but now I don't see this option now in new design.
As I see it is available only for entire Jira admin (or something like that), but it is not really convinient to ask the person to import tasks. Is there any way to import tasks via CSV to exact project in JIRA now by this exact project's admin?
Thank you.
Hi Evgenia,
here is the import function:
https://<your-jira>.atlassian.net/secure/admin/ExternalImport1.jspa
This gives me the following:
Sorry, you don't have permission to perform that action. If you think you should have permission, contact your administrator.
So I must be admin for not only my project in JIRA (we have several), right?

Yes, that's true. But importing issues was always a Jira Administrators job, as far as I know.

I just was able to do this before, but not now.
Got it!
Thank you for the quick answers!
Best regards,
Evgeniia

Hey @Evgenia Lefgren I see you may already have your answer but I have seen they moved the button from the search view to the create new issue view. So hit 'create new issue' and there's an option in the top right that says 'import issues'.
I however, am a site admin, and apparently still do not have permission to do this. I am not sure what's wrong.
