Hi Atlassian,
We use JIRA for issue management.
In activity in the comment field we use it to share information and emails, clippings...etc are copied, in these copies all the images *.jpg *.gif....etc added in this field are duplicated in the Attachments field.
Is there a way to remove this automation or filter access to the content of Attachments?

The main method to attach files on a ticket is not to insert it in the comments but to use the appropriate button, I am attaching screenshot.
If you upload the file to the ticket using this method it will not be duplicated, then you can use it in the comments.
