I created a project using the content management template and would like to add a backlog so that my team can triage requests before putting them through our workflow. Unfortunately, there is no "Features" section in the project settings — is it possible to add a backlog through some other means?
Hi @Alyssa
I'm assuming you have a Company Managed Software project. To add a backlog, you can create a Scrum board. You could also create a Kanban board, but you'd need to configure the columns to activate the backlog.
Here is the Atlassian documentation on how to create boards
https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/create-a-board/
Please let me know if it helped.
Cheers,
Melo
Hi Alyssa,
The backlog should appear on the board if you've created one. Please let me know if it did not work out.
If you're in a team-managed project and don't see the "Features" under the settings, that indicates you're not using a Jira Software project.
Thanks,
Melo

Hi @Alyssa , although it's a bit clunky, you can add a shortcut of the board or backlog.
