Can I add an attachment using a URL?

I often find myself wanting to add notes from images on webpages.  Adding them is a bit of a hassle as I have to download/upload them.  Is there a better way?

Hi @Graham Horsman , thanks for the suggestion. Do you know off hand does the markup result in JIRA scraping the source and storing a local copy? Part of the reason I want to attach is for things that are transient and could go away in the future. I'd like to bookmark them in JIRA.
