In Aha, I can create a workspace, and under each I can create gloals and initiavies, which I can then assocuite to ideas/projects/work.
How would I achieve this same outcome but using jira-cloud?
Hello @John Berger and welcome to the Atlassian Community!
There are a few options you can consider to replicate the hierarchies similar to Aha:
- Upgrade to Premium plan and utilize Adanced Roadmaps feature (where you can have tasks associated under Goals > Initiatives > Epics)
- Try the free integration between Jira and Atlas (which is more relevant for your current license type). You can create Goals in Atlas and link with Jira Epics (which you can rename to Initiatives)
- Another product to add to this setup is Jira Product Discovery - this is where you can create "Ideas" issue type and link with the delivery tickets in Jira (Epics)
However, visualize all these Goals, Ideas, Epics and related tasks on a single Timeline as Aha! will be challenging, as it depends on each project type configuration. And you might require additional Marketplace apps. I hope this summarizes it for you, depends on your prefered implementation, there's more specific guides below:
