This is all about what you mean by "track".  All the changes you list (and more) are listed in the issue history (by design - the issue history is the main reason Jira exists!).

So the answer to your question on the basic level is "look at the issue".  I suspect you mean you want something more complex than that though, so you'll need to explain it to us.

Yes you can do this but the solution depends on what you mean by “track”. Do you want to receive an email in real-time or get a daily report, etc. here are some option to explore:

  • use Automation to trigger on the desired event and send email, add comment or whatever is available and fits your needs. You may need an automation addon depending on your needs. I use Automation for Jira but other great options are Scriptrunner and Power Scripts
  • Use JQL to create searches for events, save the filter and set up a subscription to run, hourly, daily, weekly...

I'd like to export a detailed audit log and connect it to reporting softwares the likes of PowerBi to create our own metrics around the same.

Cloud already has a PowerBI connector. Google it an you will find it.

Are you using server or cloud?

Khurram Riaz March 17, 2019

I'm using the cloud trial version. We currently use ServiceNow but are looking into Jira. I've downloaded Auditor for Jira trial verson. Let's see if it helps.
