Can I avoid from mapping the summary field when importing CSV file? Since it produces tone of issue when I have lists of data from my CSV file.

Hi Karmen,

Summary is a required field in JIRA. Not sure what the structure of your CSV is but you might have to clean it up to contain one issue per row. If you can provide more information, several users in the community should be able to help here.

     Is there any other way that I can get the drop down data list from a custom field that the data is getting from an excel format. Any other suggestions for that?

Is it a single select list or a multi-select list? Try adding the values in different columns but the same header.
