I know I can set up the sorting on the planning board to be by global rank, and then drag and drop items to rank them. However, I'd like to be able to do this on the Task Board as well. Is this possible? For example, I want to move items from "Awaiting Priority" to "Next In Line" and be able to specify the priority order of the items in the "Next in Line" status.

Justin,

The Task Board does not allow ranking actions but as you note the Rapid Board does.

Additionally, have you looked into using Swimlanes for prioritising issues?

I think the Rapid Board will provide the functionality that I need. It seems as though I can create columns for my workflow, but still sort by Rank, and therefore I can adjust the rank within a status.

However, I'm having display issues with the Rapid Board at the moment, so I can't confirm 100% that this meets my need. I'll update once I get the display issues resolved.
