Can I create 2 sprints that run concurrently?

We have 2 scrum teams that will be running staggered sprints. For example, Team 1 Sprint Planning will happen today and Team 2 Sprint Planning will happen one week from today. I do not see a way to create a second sprint without first closing the initial sprint.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi Robert,

The latest version of Greenhopper allows you to have multiple active sprints running in parallel. This version is not available for OnDemand instances yet, but it should be released shortly. Please see Greenhopper 6.0.3 Release Notes for more details about it.

Cheers,

Clarissa.

To all still interested: the feature is already available in OnDemand GreenHopper, if you activate it under JIRA Admin > GreenHopper Labs.

Hello! Does this feature work in the downloaded version of Jira Agile v6.3.1?

Thanks - Janet
