Can I create a view of tickets where my client does not see the hours spent or hours estimated?

We would like our clients to access sprint and kanban boards, and view descriptions, change ticket status etc. so that they can access scope, documentation and acceptance criteria in order for them to test specific tickets. However, we use the estimation field as well as time tracking, but this involves development time spent only. We don't want the client to calculate the left-over project budget with just development hours, as we have other tasks and roles that effect the project.

Is there a way to create a view of our boards, that the client has access to, but only sees the relevant fields for their acceptance testing?

Hi @Melda Janse

Welcome to the community.

You can change the screens on the issue type, typically you have Edit, View and Create screens,

You may have all three actions default to one screen, you would need to have a screen specific to the View action, and remove the fields you wish to hide from the view screen.

This will also imply you can't give edit permissions to the clients on the project.

P.S I would not provide external clients transition permissions, this could impact your sprint and related reporting

I would provide them only browse, create comment, delete own comment, create attachment, delete own attachment permissions
