Thanks, If I can get the Jira automation log, I could know which the response from each step then do some trouble shooting.
Anybody Knows where to find it. Or Does Atlassian even provide it?
Hi @Scott Lai
Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Hope you are doing well.
Please refer the below document:
Debug automation rules using the log | Jira Service Management Cloud | Atlassian Documentation
Hope this will help.
Thanks
Hi Scott - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Are you asking for a what to access it via API or something like that? Because there is a link you can just click on from the list of rules to see the Audit Log.

Thanks a lot, but the log is not quite in detail.
For example,
the log is like this:
If block
The following issues did not match the condition:
CDAUTO-51
If/else block
The following issues did not match the condition:
CDAUTO-51
If/else block
The following issues did not match the condition:
CDAUTO-51
Else block
Else block executed
I was comparing a REST POST response with some values, it only tells me it doesn't match any of the preset conditions, But I would like to know what is the response value, not just what it not is. Thanks.

Hi @Scott Lai
You may want to follow this suggestion to improve the content/quality of information in the automation audit log, such as adding a "verbose logging" option:
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/AUTO-36
Given the current behavior of truncating both content and details of logging, you can work-around that by writing things more specifically to the log, For example, for complex conditions write the tested information the audit log prior to the condition.
Kind regards,
Bill

Hi Dear friends,
Anyone know this issue?

Hi @Bill Sheboy Didn't see the "select an option for verbose audit logging" option.
Is it because of the jira server version?

Sorry if I was unclear; I submitted a suggestion to add a feature of verbose logging. That does not exist in the Cloud or Server/Data Center versions yet.
