Can I import JSON file to JIRA 5.2.9?

I want to import JSON files to JIRA 5.2.9 using JIRA import utility.Will JIRA 5.2.9 supports JSON file import utility?

Your best bet would be to export to csv from your existing system and import csv into JIRA
