Can I import data from Cloud Jira version 6.5-OD-05-041 to Jira version v6.3.14#6345-sha1:47b2bb0? I am getting error during the import process.
Hello Daisy,
You will need to download the latest JIRA server to perform the Cloud to Server migration. You can download the latest JIRA 6.4.5 from : https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/download
You cannot migrate JIRA Cloud to your local instance which is currently at 6.3.14. Please download a new JIRA installation and connect it to a new database. Here is a JIRA installation guide that may be helpful to you :

For the Migration process, please refer to the official migration documentation from cloud to server here for all the details and steps that needs to be taken :

There is no magic. Just click the button that you know you are downgrading during the restore process and it just work.
I did run in a problem where downgrading from Agile 6.7.6 to 6.7.4 cause Agile not work. But I got a workaround from support. Known problem.

I restore the data into a temp server with the same configuration as our production server. Do all data manipulations in the temp server. (Configuration Scheme / Screen Scheme / Workflow, etc). Then backup this system and use "Project Import" to import data into production server.
I also use project configurator to move the configuration between servers. It is very handy.

Hi Daisy,
That's wonderful to know. We have a similar requirement in our organization where we need to migrate projects from JIRA v6.5-OD-07-005 Cloud instance to server instance JIRA v6.4.1. We are yet to try importing the backup zip, but we know it will throw import errors due to version mismatch.
Could you please let me know how can we manage to do this. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Debraj.
