Like Nic says, there are a couple of solutions on the marketplace.

Exalate (I'm part of the team building this product), allows to synchronise not only the stories but also epics, sprints, ranking - the whole lot.

If you would like to see it in action, just book a meeting

You'll need some code to do that - the two servers will need to talk to each other over REST.

I'd have a look at the list of things you might want to make them "talk" about - is it a simple comment exchange or are you looking at all the fields?  But I'd probably still want to go for some form of "synchronisation" add-on like Backbone or Exalate.

I would like to extract some of the field statuses to my confluence page like status, or just a link if this story has subtask which is created in another jira platform
