Can I move a Scrum board from one project to another?

Brian Crane December 19, 2018

One of our users wants to copy a board with all it's settings from one project to another.

If this is possible, I need to ensure all history and current scrum progress and in flight work is maintained.  I've tried searched on this question but couldn't find any good answers.      Thanks,

Hello,

a Board is just a representation of issues. It does not contain issues or history. That is why if you create a board based on another project, I do not understand what you mean that you want to have all history. This board is for another project, it can not show you the history of the previous project.

To Copy a board you can go to Boards -> View all boards. Find the required board and use the Copy option menu :

there is no as such "copy" command where in you can move/copu board from one project to another along with all its settings

a Board contains one or more projects and it can live in your profile or in a project

i would suggest create a new board for the project and use the filter for the old(source) board.

board settings can be matched quickly.
