Can I move an issue's Wiki Link to the top of the issue links section?

Niall September 26, 2018

Our development teams use Confluence pages heavily within our workflow. We also cross-link Jira issues often.

By default, it looks like the "linked issues" section when viewing a Jira issue only shows the top 5 linked Jira issues.

To access a linked wiki page, our users therefore have to click the "Show n more links" button, then (in many cases) scroll down the page to view the "wiki links" subsection.

I know that Jira issues can be reordered using jira.view.issue.links.sort.order.

Is it possible to reprioritise the "linked issues" section to move "wiki links" to the top, rather than tucked away at the bottom?

I'm not sure regarding your exact query.

But just thinking out loud, maybe a scripted field to iterate through issue links and return the wiki one?

Thanks for the answer. I'm not sure I want to begin paying for ScriptRunner just to solve this problem though!
