Can Jira Data Center 8.22.1 be connected to SSL Service for incoming emails.

Hi @Lipsa Mohapatra

Welcome to the community.

If you are trying to configure the incoming mail server with Jira DC, you should refer to SECURE_IMAP or SECURE_POP.

https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/configuring-an-incoming-mail-server-with-pop-imap-or-microsoft-graph-api-1283491700.html

Similarly, if you are trying to enable SSL for your Jira environment, the document you included should also apply to Jira v8.22.1.

Thank you.

Thanks a lot @Victor Law  for the prompt response.

As per the team who is helping us with the issue, the only available Authentication method in our Jira instance is basic authentication, which is obsolete, so they are asking to enable SSL. Protocol is Secure_POPAuthentication Method.png

@Lipsa Mohapatra

You will need to upgrade your instance to 9.2 or greater and then use OAuth
