Can Quick Search return only unresolved issues (without JQL)?

Is it possible to set the "Quick Search" box to only returned unresolved issues that match the query?

Our users only want to see unresolved issues, particularly when they search for a generic keyphrase like "can't login." They don't want to see the 400+ resolved issues, just the outstanding ones.

We need more than custom filters, as the search strings change often.

Hi Daniel,

Type..

  • "my unresolved" and you will get all of your unresolved issues in a instance..
  • "my unresolved ABC" and you will get all of your unresolved issues in a specific project ABC.
  • without "my" example "unresolved" or "unresolved ABC" and you will get all issues (including not assigned to you..

If you want also search for a text this could look like: unresolved ABC "can't login"

This is the easiest way to do it .. and the fastes one :)

Best Regards,

Mirek
