Can Search return results from both JIRA and Confluence?

I would like to enter a search term once and have the results page include both relevant JIRA issues and relevant Confluence pages. Is this possible?

Have a look at the Atla-Search plugin, a commercial one, and see if it helps.

Looks like a great solution. Sadly, it's $500. I was hoping for something free. We're a start-up. :P
