Can a Jira report be created in Confluence?

Will it be possible to create a report in Confluence involving Jira fields from two different projects? This would be like a cross-project report. Involves running a SQL query on Jira database.

Currently this is possible using BIRT reports in JIra. But we are looking at any option if possible to do so in Confluence.

There are two integrations of BIRT with Jira available on the Marketplace.

Eclipse BIRT for Jira supports adding reports to Confluence pages via gadget.

Can you create the report using a Jira dashboard gadget? If not do you have eazybi?

If so you can put any gadget from Jira or eazybi in a concfluence page.
