Can a confluence page be attached to a Jira Research type item?

Looking to attach a confluence page to a research type task. I know they can be attached to Stories and would like to do the same on a Research page

You can attach a Confluence page to any JIRA ticket.  In the JIRA ticket, select "Link" from the More drop down.  In the pop up window, select Confluence page on the left, and then you can search for pages.
