Can a “green” final status in Jira be moved to another “green” final status?

Hi, in my team, we would like to add a “Ready to be Shipped” column to our board to include all tasks that have been tested but not yet released to the production environment.

We wanted to introduce a new green status for tickets in this stage so that they do not negatively impact the sprint velocity when a sprint is closed.

A ticket in the “Ready to be Shipped” status should then be moved to “Done” once it has been released.

Is this possible?

Sure, nothing stop you to do that.

Go to the project settings ->Workflow -Edit Workflow

Add your new Status and set it to be Done category.

Save your new workflow

Go Edit your Board setting and make colourful with all sort of columns:

You should be able to do this, but in general the green statuses are "final statuses" where no more work remains to be done. So if you can have just one such status in a workflow, it is clearer. There is also some way that a board chooses to display cards (issues) according to whatever status is the rightmost column too
