Can checklist items be links

We'd like to use checklists to ensure certain tasks are completed before closing an issue. We understand that the checklist plugin supports the baisc need. In order to help complete the checks, links to a wiki page would provide detailed instructions how to do this exact step.

Is it possible create links for checklist items?

Hi MW,

It is possible to add links to a checklist item but only those that are available to all the issues and that are created from the CustomField Configuration Options page in the admin section.

The reason is for security purpose. Allowing links in a checklist item created at the issue level is a vector for a XSS attack. Therefore HTML tags are only allowed when creating options because since it has to be performed by an admin, it is then assumed that the link is safe. Allowing HTML tags directly from the issue page was considered a security risk by the atlassian team.
