Hello,

I have these servers running locally and want to know to which versions i can update these Servers? All of them have expired unfortunetly, but is there any version i still can update to?
At least regarding Security Updates/Patches?

Bitbucket (Server) 25 Users: Commercial License
Currently Running Version: 7.9.0

Jira Software (Server) 25 Users: Commercial License
Currently Running Version: 8.14.1

Confluence (Server) 25 Users: Commercial License
Currently Running Version: 7.10.1

Can i update each to the latest server version?
Can i just update to specific versions each?
Do i need to do a specific update path?
What would you recommend?

Hi,

it depends on the end date of your license.

Let's say, your Jira Software license has expired on 10/10/2021.

Then you are allowed to upgrade your Jira Software server instance to any version, that was released before 10/10/2021. You can see release dates and download them here: https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/download-archives

what about Security Vulnerabilites?
If the Software itself tells me that there needs to be done something and that there are fixes in newer versions.

Hi @Daniel Erdelmeier ,

unfortunately, if licenses are expired you can't upgrade tools.

Moreover, support for Atlassian Server products ends on February 15, 2024 and you should plan to move to DataCenter or Cloud instances.

Hope this helps,

Fabio
