Hi. I have a JIRA bug. I can only type one character into a issue and comments. Then I have to click the cursor again, and then I am only allowed to type only one more character.
I have logged out and logged in to JIRA. I have rebooted. Issue repeats in FireFox, Chrome, Edge.
Everyone in projects is affected. Replicated.
Not occurring outside JIRA (e.g. Confluence is fine)
Is affecting my users also. I think it is due to this active incident:

Though the description is unclear. Atlassian are investigating.
A work around is to use the comments when opening the JIRA item to the side of the board.

Just here to confirm that we're having the same issue in our team - The Bug/incident log linked above (and here https://jira-software.status.atlassian.com/incidents/7c8832gjydnx)
Seems to mention that the bug is fixed, but we're still getting it :\

Same here. The issue persists when working with pop up windows from board screen + issue window on the side of the screen with editing / commenting on existing issues
The issue has disappeared
- when creating new issues from Create button
- when editing/commenting issues directly at the issues' URL (e.g. /abc-123) instead of using the side/pop up windows.

Same here. Please fix ASAP

It doesn't appear to be a character limit issue. I've been playing around and it seems to time out. If I type really fast I can get a few characters. Seems to time out at one second.
