Can send a custom email using sub-task user field

Hi,

I have a user field "Checker" in the sub-task. I want to send a custom email to the sub-task user field "Checker" using Scriptrunner when I approve the parent task. Is it a possible way to do it?

How about using Jira automation?

Here I chose assignee as example. But you can use your custom field value
