Can someone confirm that basic roadmap does not show releases?

This is not explicitly addressed in the advanced vs basic roadmap documentation or sales page. Can someone simply confirm that there is no way to view releases in the basic roadmap? 

We are evaluating for use. I use Jira with a much larger organization which has advanced roadmaps. I was trying to demonstrate release management to a smaller team at a different company trialing the free version, and while I could make a release, I am unable to show it in the roadmap. 

I just want to make sure I'm not missing it somewhere and that this is indeed one of the limitations of the free version and the basic roadmap. 

It would be super handy of Atlassian included that in the documentation comparing basic and advanced roadmaps.

Hi @john,

That's correct - you cannot view releases on the timeline in the basic Roadmaps offering.
