Can't able to format last lines in descrpition

Hi

I can't able to format last 3 lines of descrpition,  ex (edit description -- select last 3 lines with mouse ---- in formatting toolbar select "plus" sign -- code -- remove redundant new lines -- confirm changes.

Could you answer the following questions so we can get a better understanding of the issue you are encountering:

• Which version of Jira are you running?
• What browser are you using?
• If you are on Jira 7, are you using Visual or Text Mode?
• Is this happening for all issues when editing the description?

Lastly, could you provide a screenshot or screenshots of what the issue looks like on your end
