Hi All,
I have created a Project using the Project management template and when I click on the Pages tab it says "Not connected to Confluence... To use project pages, contact your admin or team lead to connect Confluence to this project."
I am able to connect to a Confluence Page when I create a Jira Software project.
I have full Org and Site Admin permissions.
Am I missing a setting?
Although I realize this is an old thread, I wanted to post a small update about this, since I experienced this issue as well, and found it difficult to find the correct documentation explaining the issue.
At my current client, they separated the Project Admin and 'contributor' roles in the Permission scheme, so the 'Administrator' role didn't actually have all the permissions. The 'Administrator' role did in fact have the 'Administer Project' permission, but not many of the other project permissions.
After some further searching, I ran into Enable and disable project pages | Jira Cloud | Atlassian Support where this is shown:
"To view, add, and/or remove a Confluence space and Jira project relationship, you must have Browse projects, Create work items, and Edit work items permissions for that Jira project."
So, I could finally solve my issue after also giving myself the additional 'Contributor' role that did in fact have many of the other permissions including the ones that were still missing alongside the 'Administer Project' permission. :-)
Hi,
i also have a question.
I was able to setup a Trainings Project and Space for Jira Workmanagement and for Confluence.
But when i open the register "Pages" in JWM i can only see the Pages within the Confluence Space, not the folders that where created.
That's how it's supposed to work?
