Can't make Epic link a mandatory field

We've recently updated our Jira Server to 7.11.2 and now in the post function the option is gone to make a field required.

Is this a bug or can anyone help me do this differently?

Hi Pamela,

by default, Jira Server does not offer a "Field required" validator in workflows (Jira Cloud does by the way). Have you been using any workflow app adding this validator and stopped using it after your update? Just check the installed apps in your instance. If you don't want the make the field required throughout your project using the field configurations you may have to activate the app again or purchase another one from the Atlassian Marketplace.

Hi Max, thanks, I think we are using Scriptrunner and it might be that this option was included here. I will check that.
