Can't see subtask comments on RapidBoard view

I have a parent story ticket and several subtasks for that ticket. On the RapidBoard view (swimlane view) the parent and child subtasks are all viewable. I can select a child and see the title, "Attachments", "Structure", and "Development" in the 1/3 righthand quick view side-panel. I cannot see or create any comments in this view however (Unless I got to the ellipsis menu, then select 'more actions', then type in 'comment' - even then the added comment doesn't show up).

I can go directly to the subtask and can add comments there, as well as view any comments on the subtask.

Adding comments is easy. Just type "m" after deleting the issue and you can directly comment on the issue. You're talking about Rapid boards... are you using a fairly old version of JIRA Agile?

JIRA 6.3.15, JIRA Agile 6.6.70. You're right about 'm' to quick add a comment, I totally spaced that. But I still can't view and added comments on subtasks in the Rapid board view.

Mmmh, that's weird then. Do you see the comment panel when you're looking at the parent issue?

Yep, it shows up as normal
