Can the default sort order be set on a Quick Search?

When a quick search is performed and the issue navigator appears, is there a way to set the default sort column/order without clicking on the column title?

Hi Andrew,

Unfortunately, you cannot set the sorting order until your search is run in the basic search method. However, there are more sorting options available using jql queries in the advanced search method:
