Can we get a button to copy ticket's description

Since the arrival of Ai and chatgpt, my work has changed a lot, I almost copy the ticket description for all ticket in chatgpt in order to start my analys.

Sometime when not with mouse and keyboard, exemple and have to copy/paste for dozen of ticket, I'm loosing lots of time.

A simple copy to clip board option like you offer for ticket url would be AMAZING.

Please do it, it's so simple change that could provide so much.

I've wanted the same ergonomic improvement: a way to quickly copy an Issue's description to my clipboard so I can use it in other systems (e.g. chatgpt). 

I created a Jira cloud app (the same one Bo pointed out) that allows you to copy a customized template of text by clicking a button that appears on the issue view. For example, you can define a custom button that copies the issue description to your clipboard:

 

The app also allows you to define a custom template so you can add more Issue data and personalize the copied text for any of your custom buttons (including optionally enabling/disabling an embedded link back to the Issue).

Yeah, I don't think there is a native Jira function for a one-button copy like this, I do see a similar suggestion was posted on Jira Cloud long ago but unfortunately, no major activities going on at this stage, you can view and add your comment here if you wish to: JRACLOUD-79805

 Alternatively, maybe you can try apps from the marketplace, like Elements Copy & Sync or Copy Issue Link, they may not come as free though. :(
