Can we import attachment in JIRA using csv file

Neeta Jain May 21, 2019

Hi Team,

1. We wanted to import attachment through csv file.

2. Need to take attachment through secured system like Box etc.

3. Those attachments should not be publicly host.

I have tried with insert object feature which doesn't work.

I have also tried to taken out the attachment path from BOX,which also does not work for me.

Can anyone suggest the solution for this?

Regards,

Neeta Jain

Hi @Neeta Jain ,

You can import attachments to JIRA with csv import.

To do so you have to specify the attachment URL in the csv.

The attachment URL have to be publicly access.

In your case you said the URL have no public access and that is why it's not working for you.
