We're transitioning from JIRA Server to JIRA Cloud for Dev teams and we’d like to get an integration established into Bitbucket Server to allow us to keep commits and pull requests linked into JIRA tickets. We need this to be secure and we're considering using Apache as the gateway (https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucketserver071/proxying-and-securing-bitbucket-server-998654213.html) and Squid as the proxy to ensure that access into our network (Bitbucket) remains secure.

I'm not finding documentation specific to Squid for use with JIRA Cloud and Bitbucket Server.

Hi Terren,

I just wanted to update back here to help include this reference for those who are interested in learning more about setting up a forwarding proxy alongside Bitbucket Server:

Using the steps located here, alongside the reverse proxy steps originally mentioned in this question, you should be able to achieve the desired configuration mentioned in your original question.

Thanks,

Evan Slaughter
