In the System Info page we see the jira.projectkey.reservedwords.list which lists out the words that can't be used as project keys: PRN, AUX, CLOCK$, NUL, COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4, COM5, COM6, COM7, COM8, COM9, CON, LPT1, LPT2, LPT3, LPT4, LPT5, LPT6, LPT7, LPT8, LPT9.
We would like to add a word or word to that list. Is there a way to do this?
This is probably coming from a configuration of your JIRA. While you can use that, JIRA (tested on 6.4.3) does not have such list. Check if you don't have them in the jira-config.properties file on your JIRA-HOME.
We are at 6.3.15. Is there any way we can block certain words from becoming project keys systematically?
