it seems only the owner of a board can change the board (for example: add a swimlane).
Can you share a ownership of a board with other users so they can configure the board without having to change the owner ?
Here's my vote to maintain one owner, but allow that owner to grant edit rights to other users or roles.
Can a JIRA admin change the owner?
Hi Andy,
A JIRA Administrator can change the owner. At this stage we are not discussing or exploring sharing edit rights with other users as it is based on the model used in JIRA for Saved Filters, and reuse that functionality.
Thanks Andy,
Nicholas

Hi Andre,
David is spot on, there is only one owner.
In addition, JIRA Administrator can also modify a board owned by another user.
Thank you,

Hi Andre,
New version of Agile board (v6.3) contains the ability to have multiple owners. I have found this usefull when I as a scrum master wants to change board configuration as wellas the product owner wanting to change the confoguration also.
I was looking for this feature in previous versions, so now I have it, it's good I think.

Nope. One board, one owner. That's it.
Whould you could do instead in order to enable several user to edit the board is to create dummy user with shared passwords that is only used to manage boards/filters/etc that need to be edited by multiple users.
