Can you show number of changes to a Custom date field?

Hi,

I'm trying to find a way to report the number of changes made to a custom date field used to record the estimated delivery date of a project.

I've looked at the CHANGED query, but that only seems to work for a predefined set of fields.

You can use a script  with the following APIs

https://docs.atlassian.com/software/jira/docs/api/7.6.1/com/atlassian/jira/issue/changehistory/ChangeHistoryManager.html#getChangeItemsForField-com.atlassian.jira.issue.Issue-java.lang.String-

So you will get the list of all changes for each issue field
