Hi, How can I delete a card without losing the history. A history that has been deprioritized?

Best Regards

Tatiana

Hi @Tatiana Viana

As it was said in the previous comments, built-in functionality doesn't support storing history for the deleted cards.

You may search Marketplace solutions to get what you need. If you're comfortable with it, you can try the Issue History add-on developed by my team. There is an option to keep deleted issues. So you'll know if any of the issues is removed when the feature is enabled. You can read more about this option here – Keep Deleted Issues.

Hi @Tatiana Viana,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

If you delete an issue you will also loose the history of it. Instead of deleting an issue, consider creating a status in your workflow that indicated that the issue has been canceled.

Hello @Tatiana Viana

Welcome to the community.

You cannot delete an issue without losing the history. When an issue is deleted in Jira all of its data is permanently removed and it cannot be recovered.

Instead it is most often recommended that you create a status in the Done status category for "Deleted" or "Irrelevant" or a similar description and set the issue to that status.

Can you provide more details on the problem you are trying to solve by deleting the issue while wanting to retain its history? Perhaps we can offer additional suggestions if we understand more about your scenario.
