Cannot Resolve or Close since moving to On Demand

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!

I cannot resolve or close issues since moving to On Demand. I get an error saying

"Communications Breakdown: The JIRA server could not be contacted. This may be a temporary glitch or the server may be down.

Close this dialog and press refresh in your browser"

which does not fix the problem. Other people on my team can resolve and close without issue.

If you have access to firebug, then try to examine the Ajax request to see what response you actually get, it may be that your user doesn't have the necessary permissions.
