Cannot copy project using scriptrunner due to error

Hi all and Adaptavist,

I try to copy project using Build-in ScriptRunner function but I got the error: Epic Link is required. Do you know the root cause? Can you advise?

In your configuration is Epic Link a required field? Copy project, when it copies issues, deliberately does not copy the epic link. It creates new epics and links the issues to those. 

I don't see how you can work round this other than (temporarily) removing the requirement to enter the epic link.

The Epic Link is not set as a required field in field configuration.

Its a LOCKED field, no option to set it to Optional

Is there a workaround ?

By this, Copy project feature is unusable for such copying.

Any thoughts ?
