Hi all, I'm having issues mentioning other users via the '@' functionality in JIRA. When I type '@' in one of the JIRA instances I'm a member of, I do not see the modal with the typical list of search results where I can select another user to mention. I also cannot mention users with their usernames directly. This is causing a lot of issues for me since I am not able to effectively communicate with my team. WOuld appreciate any assistance

Hi @Christopher Mudd,

have you stumbled across these docs already? They seem to talk about the problem you're describing.

Most likely cause is that your user does not have the Browse Users permission. The article describes how a Jira administrator can grant them in the global permissions.
It also describes other problems with its solutions.

Cheers,
Matthias.
